School Council

In order to provide our children with a greater understanding of citizenship and the democratic process, pupils are elected to our school council on an annual basis. Since 2010 all children in P4 to P7 classes write manifestos and give election speeches. Following a voting process, two representatives are elected from each class. School councillors report regularly to their class council and have the opportunity to influence aspects of their own learning as well as other aspects of school life.

Pupils have helped with the selection of new equipment for the playground and how the school can achieve its rights respecting school award.
